Carolyn Potter (Dip. Hyp. HPD)is a Hypnotherapist and Reiki Master. She offers sessions in either therapy, or a combined session if the client desires it. She is trained in Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy which can be used to treat a myriad of conditions, from phobias, addictions, confidence issues, to helping you to stop smoking or lose weight. Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT)is the treatment of choice in the NHS, because it has such a strong base of evidence to support its results. When it is combined with hypnotherapy its efficacy is increased substantially.

Carolyn is also a registered HypnoBirthing Practitioner, and provides classes in this widely acclaimed method of hypnosis for childbirth. HypnoBirthing is a complete antenatal course designed to prepare you for a calm natural and relaxed labour experience. Expectant mothers and their partners take part in a course of classes which last approximately 12 hours, and learn deep relaxation skills which they can utilise during labour. Classes are held in Crowthorne, or can be booked to take place in the couple's own home.

Reiki is a natural therapy which can support the natural healing ability that we have inherently in our bodies. It is an incredibly relaxing and soothing therapy, and can be also used as a destressing strategy. As a Reiki master and teacher, Carolyn also runs classes in Reiki to students wishing to learn this therapy themselves.


Carolyn is located in Crowthorne in Berkshire. This is a small village within easy reach of Reading, Wokingham, Bracknell, Sandhurst, Camberley, Yateley and Farnborough.
