About me: I originally trained as a medical scientist (holding degrees in human physiology and neuroscience) and have spent many years reseaching and writing on medical, health and related topics. I have also had life-long interests in spirituality, mind-body medicine and natural healing. In the mid-1980s, I began training as both a healer and a yoga teacher. Since that time, I have trained in hypnotherapy, Reiki, Western massage, aromatherapy and emotional freedom techniques (EFT; also known as meridian therapy or energy psychology) and have also developed skills in relaxation therapy and stress management. My therapy practice specialises particularly in stress-related issues and conditions; also personal and spiritual development. My approach as a therapist is to tailor treatment to individual needs to help a person facilitate their personal development and self-healing processes.
